Garbage Hauling Bid Proposal to be Discussed |

The Lorain City Council Police and Fire Committee will be discussing the Garbage Hauling Proposal tonight (October 12th). This discussion will not be a final determination for the possibility of an automated system. Once the proposals are in a determination is made by the administration to chose a hauler and the council will ratify or deny the contract. |

Monday September 28th the Police, Fire and Legislation Committee will have a discussion of the new fees Allied Waste is charging resident, the placing of the garbage hauling contract for public bid, and issues related to the implementation of the Solid Waste District Management Plan.
